As a Special Education teacher myself, I’ve been keeping track of approximately how much time ProgCheck has saved me over the course of the last school year. Here is my estimated time saved:
- Saves 30 minutes/annual IEP/student
- Saves 30 minutes/Progress Report/student
- I have about 50 students with IEP Math Goals, so with needing to complete Progress Reports three times per year, and 1 annual IEP per student, ProgCheck saved me about 100 hours this past school year!”

As a Special Education Teacher, monitoring and keeping track of data for an individual student’s math goal(s) can be daunting. Quite often students have multiple goals in math and it becomes a nightmare of paperwork in a data critical profession. With ProgCheck, the goal monitoring/tracking nightmare is no more. After an initial upload of my students’ information, I just scheduled bi-monthly time on computers for my students to log in, take whatever assessments they need to for their individual goals, and the program scores, tallies and tracks all my students’ progress for me. It even creates a quick blurb for me to use on my progress notes detailing the students’ progress across X assessments with a percentage of how they are doing. I wouldn’t use anything else to assess and monitor Common Core Math Goals for any students with a Math Disability.
